Date and period: The second full weekend of December (December 14/15, 2024) from 06:00 UTC on Saturday till 18:00 UTC on Sunday

Period of operation: 36 hours. Single Operator stations may operate for only 24 of these 36 hours – off times must be a minimum of 60 minutes during which no QSO can be logged. Multi operator stations may operate for the full 36 hours.

Bands: 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 m. All participants must observe IARU band plan.

Exchange:
For non TRC stations : RS(T) + Serial number ( 599 001 )
For TRC stations: RS(T) + Serial number + TRC ( 599 001TRC )

QSO points:
– Contacts between stations on different continents are worth two (2) points
– Contacts between stations on the same continent are worth one (1) point
– 10 points for each QSO with TRC station
– Contacts between TRC members – 1 point

Multiplier:
1. Countries by DXCC list on each band
2. TRC DXCC countries on each band ( only if you have worked TRC participants from these countries in the contest ).

Final score:
The sum of QSO points multiplied by final multiplier

  • Plaques: if minimum 500 valid contacts for three and multi bands categories, 300 for QRP category
  • Contest award for SO/SB/160M and SO/SB/10M category winners ( if minimum 150 valid contacts )
    and 300 valid contacts for other categories – paper award to the postal address
  • Contest award to country winners by categories – ( if minimum 200 valid contacts ) – electronic format
  • Contest QSO’s are valid for all TRC awards

* Because lots of people are changing quite often their addresses… plaques & awards will be send just to the comfirmed winnner’s addresses after the contest ! Pse don’t forget to do that ! Tnx.

LOG DEADLINE:
All entries must be sent WITHIN SEVEN (7) DAYS after the end of the contest: no later than 23:59 UTC December  22, 2024. Resubmitting an entry after the deadline will result in it being considered as a late log. Logs submitted or postmarked after the deadline may be listed in the results, but are not eligible for awards.

The final score of TRC contest will be announced on TRC Web Site immediately after checking.

General Log Submission Requirements
1. Submit your log in the CABRILLO format created by all major logging programs.
2. We need electronics logs! The TRC Contest Committee requires electronics log for every possible high-scored entry.
3. All times must be in GMT.
4. All sent and received exchanges are to be logged.
5. Filename for the log should be yourcall.log.
6. In the header part of the electronic log submission you MUST specify a category of entrance and the full postal address for dispatch to the participant
trophies & awards .
7. Hand-written log can be made in chronological order or have separate sheet for each band. Each QSO must contain call sign, time, band, RS(RST),
exchange number (both sent and received – even for check logs).
8. Points and final score calculations are not necessary, calculations are done by our software.
9. Dupes should not be marked or deleted.
10. TRC Contest Committee decisions are final.
